Finally found what I have been looking for.
I have been looking for several months for an alarm clock that GLOWS in the dark without having to reach over and tap a button. I wanted the day, month, & date. I wanted it to an atomich clock, but that is virtually impossible to find, so I settled for a plug in. This elgin fits the tee exactly....

People are complaining about size. I don't now about you, but I want something that isn't going to take up my whole night table! It's the perfect size for me. Loud enough to wake me. Just press the top down to snooze, you don't need to open the top. Buttons are very easy to handle and figure out....
