Great Replacement
I replaced a Denon CDR-W1500 ($599) value waste of money, with this cd recorder. I bought it to finish recording my cassettes and Long Playing's and 45 records which at age 50 I still have a lot of fun doing. Setup was tricky. I needed of course the amplifier, detachable equalizer with extra inputs, and Sony cassette deck. Everything recorded marvelous. If you need setup instructions, I'm open for emails. Thank You Teac for helping me finish my project.
Works great, no problems at all, reliable
I'm glad I read all the reviews on this one and another Sony unit I had considered since this one seems very superior to the Sony and the problems listed by users of that unit. This unit functions as people have described. Yes, you have to use CD-R music cd's on it, but that's true anytime you burn music on anything anyway really. I've had no problems with this unit at all over the last year or two that I've owned it and I expect it will last a long time....
