the first thing is u have to remove the cap which is on the record and play back head place the tape between the rolls to rolls.
check weather this is ur player it is great

A: Probably get a reel at Radio Shack; an op's manual is probably going to be E-bay if you are lucky; could contact Pioneer and see if their customer service department can offer one or a source.
