Best Bang for Your Buck
I'm a bargain hunter, always have been. I came across the Pioneers while browsing the car audio section of a Electronics store close to our place. The store had a different set of 6 1/2" Pioneer speakers on sale. When I listened to the On-Sale speakers, I thought, for the $45.00 they would be OK. Then I listened to the TS-A1673R's. WAY better sound. They sounded better then the MTX and the set of Alpines they had hooked up, at almost twice the price. I...
Better than factory.
Although these aren't the best speakers on the market today, they are with no doubt better than the factory junk that comes in the vehicle. After figuring out a way to modify and re-use my factory speaker mounts these fit nicely in all 4 doors of my '09 Sierra. Powering them using only what the Pioneer AVH-P3200DVD head unit can feed to them they still sound great, I probably won't put an amp on these just yet. It all depends on how much my future addition...
