Camera spoiled it for me
I don't know if I am a typical buyer, but I think of smartphone like this as an all-around gadget that just happens to also be a phone. To me, the quality of the camera and assorted media capabilities are even more important than the phone. I was avoiding the iphone 4 because it's too small and has limited storage space, and this seemed like the best contender.
Unfortunately, the droid x just doesn't cut it as a camera, so I'm going to have to return...
Initial Evaluation of the Droid-X; Reception, Call Quality and Battery Life
I have been using the Droid X for ten days already. Uncertain if it was the device that fulfilled my needs, conducted several "home tests" to evaluate three key things; battery life, reception and call quality. The Droid has many other features but these were not relevant for my decision if keeping the new Moto device since I regularly use other devices for said purposes; a Zen Vision for video playback & music, a Camera for pictures, etc.
